School, playing, and the zoo, oh my!

Well, we know you've been wondering how school was! We seem to like it pretty well. Kitt gets a little worried the first few minutes but seems to do well after the first few minutes. The first day Miss Nancy told Mommy that Kitt didn't want to do art because she didn't want to get her hands dirty. Mommy isn't surprised! Garet's first day art is in one of the pictures below. The first couple of days were pretty hectic getting everyone settled that Mommy and Daddy didn't get a picture of us but there is a picture of our cute little lunchbags! We got to see Aunt KK and Uncle Mark for just a little while. Garet was saying their names all day the day before they came and every day since they left but wouldn't say it while they were here. We had some fun play dates this week with other kids and also with our new friends in school. We also went to the zoo with lots of other sets of twins.
Daddy was having fun taking pictures of the animals while we were there. Check out the great picture of the elephant. The whole time we walked around the zoo, Garet kept saying "el-phant." You can see how much Kitt liked seeing the birds, too. Mommy introduced us to stickers this week and they were a big hit. We get a little frustrated trying to get them off the paper but then we like them! Kitt really wanted to try on Daddy's socks today, and it wasn't enough just to try them on. She decided she would wear them for a little while. Check out the picture below. We don't have too busy of a schedule this week so maybe we can take it easy! See you next week.

  1. Aren't you the big girls now that you are going to school! I love your lunch bags. I'll bet they are a big hit with all your preschool friends. Kitt, you look cute wearing your Daddy's socks. Is it hard walking in them? And Garet I love your art work. Is it hanging on the kitchen refrigerator for everyone to see? That el-phant sure is big. I'll bet you didn't want to get too close to it. Did it make loud noises? Well, you girls have a good week and I hope you enjoy preschool and do lots of fun things. Love you! ...Poppy

  2. Hello Kitt and Garet, I've been waiting a long time to see your new lunch bags; and, wow, are they ever cute! Knowing your mommy she is filling them with nutritios and delicious items. Does she put a little dip in there, too? I hope Kitt will do some art work this week so I can see it on the blog. Your daddy's socks, Kitt, should keep your whole leg warm. Garet, I like your artwork, and I hope you make something to put on Granny and Poppy's wall. Have a good time this week in school and in everything you do. Love you lots, Granny
