Easter fun!

So who knew that Easter would be so much fun? Somehow we don't remember having this much fun last year, but then again we were just babies! We got so many cards and presents this week. Even Mommy and Daddy got some cards and presents, too. You can see some of our new things in the pictures below. We also had lots of things to do today, too. We went to church, took quick naps, went to Karol's house for a lot of fun, and then went to the Taqueria for Customer Appreciation Festivities. Somehow Mommy and Daddy managed to make the list for that party! It was a great day. Mommy's friend, Stephanie, took the great pictures of us at Karol's. That reminds us....Steph also did a photo shoot with us a few weeks ago and the pictures turned out great. If you want to see the whole album, click here. You can even order pictures right from that page! We also had some fun play dates this week but Mommy didn't take any pictures. As you can see in the last picture, (although it's not a great picture) we met the Easter Bunny. Let's just say that Garet was trembling when she saw him. Mommy is not sure if the trembling was from fear or excitement!!! We have a few things going on this week but we are excited about Granny coming to help Mommy get ready for our visit to Pensacola for two whole weeks! We will see you next week.

  1. Happy Easter, Angels!
You look absolutely beautiful in your gorgeous Easter dresses. I'm so glad to hear you had such a wonderful day celebrating the holiday.
Those are some pretty spiffy "bibs" you have on as well. Your Aunt Kristen's never seen anything like that before. What she really digs, though, are those great slippers! (If you remember, I also have furry slippers with animals on them; we can all wear them at the same time when I see you soon!)
Speaking of which, I am counting down the days until I get to see and hold you again and enjoy how much you've grown.
    Until then, XOXOXOXOXOXOXO!
    Aunt Kristen
P.S. Thank you for the beautiful pictures from your photo shoot that you sent me. I already have them in a frame and displayed prominently in my living room so that I can see them often!

  2. What a precious family! I enjoy reading their blog. I don't need to wish you a Happy Easter because it seems like one big resurrection party was celebrated all day. The Lord is risen indeed!

    Love to all,

    Ms Kattau

  3. Happy Easter, Girls !!! Hmmmm, there is only one person smiling in the picture with the Easter Bunny and it is not one of you two! Well, I hope your Mom had a good time, at least.

I don't no where to start. You both look so gorgeous in your Easter dresses. I bet everyone in church and at the party couldn't stop admiring the two beautiful Mackey girls!

Wow, I love, love, love those toy bunnies. They are amazing. And I hear they came all the way from Germany just to spend the rest of their lives with you.

And yes, you and Aunt Kristen can now prance around the house in your animal slippers. You both look very cool wearing the slippers.

I am so glad you had such a wonderful Easter.

    All my love,

  4. You girls are so cute decked out in all your Easter dresses, clothes and slippers. And it looks like you really like the bunnies your Uncle Michael sent you from Berlin. I'm glad you had so many fun activities for the week and I'm looking forward to seeing you all on Friday. Love you lots!!! ...Grandpa
