So it has been a couple of days now since the surgery and Kitt is doing much better. The first day home she slept a lot and has seemed a little more agitated than usual, but wouldn't you be? She also has had a hard time keeping all her food down but that seems to have only been an issue for a day or so. She has been much better with feedings today. Garet weighs 10 pounds, 4 ounces now and Kitt weighed 9 pounds, 11 ounces at last weigh-in, but we haven't weighed her in a couple of days because of the surgery and now the patch over her eye. We are going to try to keep the patch on until the doctor sees her next week.
In other news, we went on a walk with Granny yesterday and today we sat on blankets in the sun for about an hour (with covers over our head so we wouldn't burn!) Since we started using our cloth diapers we thought we would show you how cute they are out on the clothesline.
Granny would be sooo proud although I doubt she ever hung diapers that looked like those. Glad to hear things are going better. Praying they will continue to improve daily. Love you!
