So today was a very long day but a good one. Kitt had three appointments with the lady who makes eyes. She said for a baby Kitt did so great! She hardly cried at all. The new eye still has a little bit of tweaking (like the color and the pupil size) but it does look good. Granny took very good care of Garet while Mommy and Daddy were busy with Kitt and even took her over to have tea and cake with Miss Phyllis next door. Mommy and Kitt joined them later for some tea and cake, too. Granny took us all out to dinner at Shorty's to celebrate the new eye. It was a lot of fun although we got tired and fell asleep at our celebration!!!! Mommy tried Garet out in the new bath seat. We think she will like it when she gets a little bit bigger. Speaking of baths, we had good weight gain. Kitt weighs 12 pounds, 10 1/2 ounces and Garet weighs 13 pounds, 6 1/2 ounces. We're going on a little excursion tomorrow to a place we have never been so stay tuned....
It is truly a glorious day! How beautiful you are Kitt. It's so wonderful to see you with your two pretty brown eyes. And, Garet, you are looking so cool in that bath seat. Soon, there will be nothing for your Mom and Dad to do. (Well, maybe not that soon!)

My prayer is that all of your difficult days are now behind you and I look forward to seeing you and your sister (who looks somewhat perplexed in her new bath seat) very soon.
