Home again
After a teary good-bye (at least on Mommy's part) and a long drive we made it home. Mommy was really sad to leave Granny and Grandpa but knows she will see them again soon. We did a great job in the car and managed to only stop once to eat. When we got home, we did some unpacking and some napping. We are trying hard to get back on our normal schedule. Mommy didn't take any pictures today, mainly because she didn't know where the camera was until everything got unpacked. She did weigh us, though, and we both had some really great weight gain! Kitt weighs 13 pounds, 8 ounces and Garet weighs 14 pounds, 7 ounces. We sure did gain a lot of weight in Pensacola.....must have been all the chocolate that Mommy and Granny snuck us :)

Because Granny is missing you so much, she was thrilled to have the opportunity today to go to a condo on the beach for 3 days with other grandmas. I can relax and laugh with my friends and not be in an empty house with no "baby sounds." Florida really does agree with you girls based on your new weights so maybe your daddy won't mind your coming for extended visits. The renovated city pool in walking distance is looking fantastic so I hope it will be up and running when you return in July. If not, Miss Carol will always let us use her pool. Love you, girls.
