Happy Mommy's Day!

Today was our Mommy's first Mother's Day and we made it special for her! First of all, Daddy let her sleep in a little bit which was nice. She was a little disappointed that we didn't make it to church together, but the sleep was nice, too! Then it was like Christmas around here but just for Mommy and Granny. Mommy got presents and cards from lots of people who are so excited that this is her first Mother's Day. We know that we are her favorite present this year! Granny, of course, got presents, too, from us, from Grandpa and from all of her kids. Then all the grown-ups had a feast! They had lobster, steak, lots of sides and delicious bread pudding. Maybe for next Mother's Day we will get to eat something besides milk. We took naps this afternoon and had a visit from Kristin and her friend Trooper. What a day! Tonight is our last night with Daddy here until the weekend so we're enjoying spending time with him. There are some pictures of us with Granny and Mommy and some of their presents.

  1. Oh girls, you have made this such a very special day for your Mommy and for so many of us who love your Mommy. You have fulfilled your Mom's greatest desire and dream. She is a Mother. So, today we all celebrate your Mommy's first Mother's Day. We are all so excited and happy for your Mommy. Thank you Garet and Kitt for making it all possible and for bringing so much happiness to Mommy's loved ones.

  2. Happy Mother's Day to your wonderful mom. I know you already know this but she's truly the best mother for you two girls. I'm so glad you've made her dreams come true! Glad you all are having fun in P-cola! Wish I was there to enjoy it too. It's been cooler in California... Garet, it's your last chance to come visit while I live here :)
