Eyes Wide Open

Look at how alert we were both were today! Clearly the top picture is both of us. The next one is Mommy and Garet and the bottom one is Mommy and Kitt.

We have a very big announcement tonight! We have both been moved to the Intermediate level of the NICU. While we still require a lot of attention and special care, this means our condition has stabilized and we are one step closer to going home to be with Mommy and Daddy. According to the nurses this means we have overcome the majority of our medical crises. We are told this will mean Mommy and Daddy will get to visit us more often and do more for us but they will find out tomorrow. It all sounds like good news to us!

  1. That is a great announcement! I can't wait to find out what this means in terms of getting to visit them more. I know the limited contact is killing both of you! You are both so strong...well, let me rephrase that, the four of you are all so strong!

    Love you!

  2. Yeah!!!!! That is huge news!!!!! So happy for you and the girls. They are two strong little girls.

  3. Oh Kitt and Garet, I have chill bumps of joy! I am so thankful that you both got to come out at the same time. Enjoy that time the mommy and daddy get to be with you at the hospital. Very soon you well get to see your home and you whole new world.

  4. So thankful for this great news. How is Mommy holding up?? Praying for you all. Need an update on your BP. Getting any better?

  5. That's the best Monday-morning news I've ever heard! :) Kitt & Garet are working so hard - they'll be home soon!

  6. Dear Garet and Kitt,

Bravo Sweet Girls! How happy you are making us all, especially Mom and Dad, by the wonderful progress you are both making. How do you like your new surroundings? I bet you can't wait to spend more time with Mom and Dad!
    Love, Great Aunt MaryAnne

  7. Kitt & Garet, I'm so glad to see that you are getting bigger and stronger every day! We're saying lots of prayers from here and will keep them up! Keep growing, little girls.
