Kangaroo Care

Kitt: Not much has changed with me. I am still on the maximum feeding of 25 cc 8 times per day. I hadn't been weighed yet when Mommy and Daddy were here. I really liked when the put me in Mommy's shirt. She got to hold me for thirty minutes. I fell asleep and was really happy. (Me and Mommy are in the top picture.)

Garet: I am up to 13 cc of milk and weigh 2 pounds 9 ounces now. I am on the lowest setting of the CPAP machine and am still getting fluids through an IV. As soon as I am eating a little more the IV will be able to come out. Mommy got to hold me for the first time tonight, too. They tucked me down inside her shirt. This is called Kangaroo Care. I didn't seem to like it quite as much as my sister but maybe I will get used to it. (That's me and Mommy in the bottom picture).
